I worked with Muriel as a young teacher at #181 from 1964-1966. We both taught English. She was very helpful and a delightful person. We kept some contact over the years through our dear friend in common, Eunice Hilliard. We would gather every summer at Eunice's house for fellowship and Scrabble. Please accept our sympathy on her passing and our appreciation for a beautiful life.

The Wilson Family wishes the Simms family our deepest condolences! Mrs. Johnson warmed the hearts of everyone who came across her path. My family loved to sit with her and hear her life stories of growing up in Baltimore. We will miss her dearly! We hope in time the tears will turn to laughter as we all carry on her legacy. Rest in peace Lady Johnson!
