Andrew Sabourin Obituary

Andrew James ("AJ") Sabourin, the son of the late Lucy B. Sabourin and late Reginald R. Sabourin, passed away on May 30, 2025, at home in his sleep, in the company of family after bravely battling multiple myeloma. He was born on December 16, 1969, and raised in Bay City, Michigan.

Before moving to Arkansas, he lived in California where he became passionate about mountain biking, travelling all over the state to ride the trails. Despite living in California and Arkansas, he remained a lifelong University of Michigan football fan.

He is survived by his wife, Jan; her children, Thomas and Rebecca; his brothers, Scott (Gail) Sabourin and David (Michelle) Sabourin; his sister, Lucy (Richard) Bjorem; his nephews, Kyle and Richard Bjorem, and Jerrud and Joshua Sabourin; and his special friends Monkey, Baby, Sweetie, Lulu and Bob.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

AJ, I am so sad with the loss of you in my life. I am proud to be your big brother and an honor to have shared our lives as part of the Sabourin family. You still have the BCC record for longest field goal at 38yards. At least one of us made the record book!!
