Douglas Brick Obituary
Douglas's remains would never have been found except for the persistence of the University of Utah police department. Their dedication to this formerly cold case brought peace to the Brick Family.
Visiting hours will be 5pm - 7pm on August 28th at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 West Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Church, 248 N Arthur Street, Pocatello.at 11am on Friday, August 29th. Following the memorial, a graveside service will be provided at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S 5th Ave, Pocatello. Further information can be found by following the link: Wilks Funeral Homes.

We were friends with Donna Brick, Douglas' mother. In the late 1980s Episcopal Bishop John Thornton was visiting Donna and asked about the photo of Douglas on the mantle. After learning that Douglas had disappeared and there was never a funeral, the Bishop told Donna she needed some form of closure and suggested a memorial at Trinity Episcopal Church. We attended that memorial service, it was held on a weeknight and the church was full with friends and family. We know Donna appreciated the service and would be at peace with this final goodbye for Douglas.

Dear Susie and David: I am so grateful that you have been able to confirm that Dougie has been with God all these years. He was such a sweet boy! I cannot imagine how strong you had to have been to have managed to go on with normal lives all this time with that terrible uncertainty. You and your families will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
