Michael Ford Obituary

Michael Ford passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at his home in Deepwater, Missouri.
Michael was born on March 11, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri to Emery and Linda (Godfrey) Ford. Mike was a great loving father he would have done anything for his family and friends. He worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for 22 years until 2018 when his health wouldn't let him. He could tell you every tree and knots. You would ask and he would tell you how he would cut the tree. He loved being a tree trimmer.
He loved hunting and fishing and he would share this with his sons. He was baptized on April 21, 2024 at Life Ministries Church where Mike loved going. Mike loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He and Stacy were together for 32 years and truly had a lot of great memories.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Emery Ford, his grandparents Tom and Dorothy Ford, Albert and Loena Godfrey, his uncles; Douglas Shoemaker, David Peterson, and aunts; Thelma Shoemaker, Ethel Godfrey, and Donna Godfrey, and his father-in-law James E. Goth.
Survivors include his wife Stacy Ford of the home, his daughter Autumn Cheyenne Ford (Lane) of Chilhowee, Missouri, his son Trenton Michael Emery Ford (Anneliese) of Deepwater, Missouri, his son Kasey David Edward Ford of the home, his daughter Lindsey Ann Ford (Kyle) of Clinton, Missouri, his mother Linda June Ford of Osceola, Missouri, his sister Teresa Claypool (Tony) of Deepwater, Missouri, brother in law Eric Goth of Clinton, Missouri, Stephanie Neuenschwander (Jim) of Deepwater, Missouri, 5 grandchildren; Oakley, Brilee, Kennison, Georgia and Hunter, along with numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins
Funeral services were held December 6, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Pastor Anthony Velazquez officiating. Special music included "Jealous of the Angels, Huntin' By Yourself, Second Chance and You Can Let Go Now Daddy." The casket bearers were Tony Claypool, Brent Shoemaker, Kasey Ford, Joe Neal, Aaron McClure, Trenton Ford and Lane Knoles. The honorary bearers were Emery Ford, Lewis Ford, Jerry Godfrey, Robert Hawkins, Jim Goth, Rex Godfrey and Randy Knoles. Interment followed in Peaceful Home Cemetery, Deepwater, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
