Terry Spaeth Obituary
Terry graduated from Ohio University and went on to spend many years working in the industrial control valve and automation industry. He then joined Control Associates, where he spent the next 30 years helping to successfully grow the company ultimately serving as President from 2008 until his retirement in 2020.
Terry loved restoring and driving classic cars, capturing the world through photography, spending time in the South of France with close friends and family, and listening to jazz, his great passion. He will be much missed by all who knew him.
A memorial and celebration of Terry's life will be held November 6, 2025 at 3 PM at MASS MoCA, 1040 MASS MoCA Way, North Adams, MA 01247. In lieu of flowers and in the spirit of Terry's profound love of jazz and dance, the family request that donations be directed to MASS MoCA's performing arts program in Terrys honor at massmoca.org. Terry was the epitome of someone, when you first meet him you feel like you have known him a long time. I only just met Terry in the past couple of years and always got a sense of friendly, humorous and gentleness about him. To Wendy and his son my heartfelt condolences.
