Thomas Odom Obituary

Thomas Kirk Odom, 55, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Dora, AL. Born on April 20, 1970, Kirk was a graduate of Pleasant Grove High and attended UAB, where he joined the TKE fraternity. He then served his country proudly in the Marine Corps Reserves. Kirk was hard-working and spent much of his career in supervisory positions within various manufacturing organizations. He loved Auburn sports, all things Star Wars, fishing, golf, gardening, genealogy, reading, and spending time with his dogs.
He cared deeply for family and friends and will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Sharon; grandmother, Eva; brothers Brent (Heather) and Ryan (Christy); his nephews Drew, Emmett, Jackson, and Micah; along with his aunts, uncles, and host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas; grandparents Aubrey and Zelma; and grandfather Lewis Wheeler. A brief graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 23rd.
