Adrian Lerch Obituary
Adrian "Wynn or Windy" Lerch, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Juniper Village of Meadville.
Born January 20, 1929 in Rimersburg, he was the son of the late William E. and Edna M. McAninch Hugus Lerch.
He worked for Zanot's vending machine business.
Before retiring full-time to Fla., he had his summer residence at the Knox KOA where he enjoyed evenings by the fire pit and visiting with neighbors.
He lived 36 years in Lakeland Florida before his return to Pennsylvania. He enjoyed the Florida sunshine and warmth. He was an avid walker and his motto was "gotta keep moving." In later life he found great joy in putting together puzzles.
In addition to his parents, Wynn was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Effie Victoria Reid-Lerch, on September 26, 2004. His partner of 11 years Teresa Ake preceded him in death on January 6, 2025; and his son, John V. Lerch of Rimersburg preceded him in death on July 6, 2023. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are three daughters and their spouses, Vickie (Mike) Zboyovski of Wattsburg, Debbie (Ernie ) Sandoval of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Miki (Brad) Zwiener of Port Matilda; and daughter-in-law, Patty Lerch of Rimersburg.
Mr. Lerch's grandchildren are: Amanda (Dan) Hanas, Jim (Heather) Zboyovski, Sam (Cait) Lerch, J.J. Lerch, Matthew (Emily) Sandoval, Kirsten (Jeff) Reed, Brad (Heather) Sandoval, Ryan Zwiener and Sarah (Kevin) Katchko.
Mr. Lerch's great-grandchildren are: Nadia Zboyovski, Abram Zboyovski, Chloe Lewis, Gavin Lewis, Kayla Hanas, Tyler Hanas, Christian (Corrine) Reed, Hannah (Troy) Mateo, Hailey Sandoval, Kira Sandoval, Tate Sandoval, Jonny Lerch, Owen Kravitz and Brewer Katchko.
Mr. Lerch's great-great-grandchildren are: Calianna Davis, Soren Reed, Inneke Reed, Evvy Mateo, Ellie Mateo and Theo Mateo.
He is also survived by his sister, Miriam Kline.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Interim Healthcare & Hospice and Juniper Village of Meadville.
There will be no funeral service.
Interment will take place in the Rimersburg Cemetery.
