Willard Slade Obituary

Willard G. Slade of Winhall passed away at home on May 7, 2025 at age 74.

He was born and lived in southern VT. The son of Carroll and Maude (Ayers) Slade. Willard was self-employed in maintenance most of his life and enjoyed food and movies, especially Westerns and Science fiction. He also loved nature and was a dedicated, hard-working, loving father of two sons.

Willard is survived by his loving son Isaiah Slade and four grandchildren, he also is survived by his two brothers Larry and Steve Slade and two sisters Carolyn and Laura Slade. He was predeceased by his parents and his son Gabriel. He believed in intelligent design, Christ and a creator. He was a good role model and a very generous person.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home 55 Westminster St., in Bellows Falls, VT.
