Beloved husband of the late Mary V. (Maitino); Dear father of Jean (David) Maines, Jimmy (Cindi), Patty Keppler, Tommy, Kevin and the late Phillip Ryan. Loving grandfather of Lisa (Mike) Szelagiewicz, Meg (Dan Watkins) and Connor Ryan, Brittini (Nick) Bender, and Shane (Jordan) Keppler. Great grandfather of James and Camden Locklear; Easton, Hayden, Navy and Tatum Bender, Luka Ryan, Lincoln and Sage Keppler. Son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Hartman) Ryan. Brother of the late Thomas (late Julia) Ryan, Kathleen (late Donald) Burkett, Rita (late John) Costello. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 4-7PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3155 Orchard Park Rd. 716-675-9027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Bernadette's Church. Please assemble at church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Ryan was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 721 and the Harvey D. Morin VFW Post. He was also a C.P.C.U. and a lifelong member of the Butler Boys. Online book at www.CANNANFH.com
