Joene Pease Obituary

Pease, Joene Rae

January 8, 1947 - May 12, 2025

Joene "Jo" or "JoJo" was tragically taken from this world but will always be remembered for her love and kindness. Joene grew up living across the street from a boy named John Pease. She married him in 1967 and spent 57 years by his side. They had two girls, Amie (Ron) Maranto and Lorie (Paul) Pratt, and a beloved grandson, Dino Maranto. Her 78 years were spent traveling the world, baking the best sweets, and loving her family. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her brother-in-law, David Pease, her nephews, and their families, many loving Johnson family cousins, the extended Pease family, her closest friend, Jacqueline Brehm, and the Loveria family. Joene was predeceased by her brother, Bruce Johnson. The family will be celebrating Joene's life in a private service at a later date. To honor Joene, please bake a batch of something sweet and share it with someone you love. The family asks that donations be given to the Lake View Fire Department as a tribute to their heroic rescue of John Pease.
