Louise Temeyer Obituary

INDEPENDENCE – Louise Temeyer, 92, of Independence, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 14.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19 at the Hope Wesleyan Church, Independence with Rev. Bob Solon officiating. The burial will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call for visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 18, at the Reiff Family Center - Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, and from 9 a.m. till Services Saturday at the church.
Louise was born October 12, 1932 in Fayette, Iowa, to Glen and Leone Rhines. At the age of 10, Louise and her family moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where she graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1951. Louise and John Temeyer married on September 3, 1961, and Louise built her Avon business and served several clients for 61 years.
Louise is survived by her two sons, Jeff D. Temeyer and Todd J. Temeyer of Independence; her grandchildren, Kristan (John) Hunter of North Liberty, Justin Temeyer of Independence and Erin (Chris) Freund of Atlantic, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Lydia, Elise and Adelyn Hunter and Henry and Cora Freund.
