Florence Pendleton Obituary
Florence Pendleton With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Prochazka - Pendleton, a woman of remarkable strength and warm spirit. Born on December 14, 1952, Florence lived a full and vibrant life until her peaceful passing on July 14, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Florence's loss leaves a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Florence is survived by her loving husband, Frank Pendleton, her cherished children: Leslie Iverson, Johnnie Williams Jr. and Lauri Pendleton-Hooter; her adored grandchildren: Anthony Smith, Natasha Kantor, Jamica Iverson, Taleigha Iverson, Azzlynn Renee Williams, Kayleigh Hooter, Zoe Anderson and Michaell Hooter, and last, but definitely not least, her great grandchildren: Ezra, Asher, Adeline and Salem. Each holds tight to fond memories of her vivacious personality and the warmth and wisdom she bestowed on them throughout her lifetime. Her spirit is carried on not only through her children but also through her adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye.
In her memory, we remember Florence's parents, Lillian Feagan and Taft Prochazka, and her granddaughter, Kiana Iverson, who preceded her in their journey to eternal rest. We honor the legacy they left in Florence and recognize the values, respect, and love for family that they ingrained in her.
Florence was a woman of many passions. She had a keen eye for arts and crafts, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her zest for life. Florence's favorite recreational activities involved spending time surrounded by her family and friends, sharing stories, conversations, and hearty laughter. She found solace down by Somerville Lake, one of her favorite vacation spots where she recharged amidst nature's serenity.
Florence was a woman whose actions echoed her beliefs. The causes dearest to her heart were her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. Her love for her family was fierce and unwavering, a beacon that guided her every action and decision. She was sassy and straightforward, delivering love from the heart in a manner only she could.
Perhaps one of Florence's most enduring legacies will be the hard life lessons she imparted. She used to say, "If it doesn't sting, it ain't love." Her teachings, though hard-hitting at times, were grounded in truth, wisdom, and deep love. Florence's indomitable spirit and loving memory will live on in our hearts forever.
