John Weaver Obituary

John Warren Weaver, 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 14, 2025, at his home in Cape Carteret, North Carolina. John was known for his sharp wit, his deep love of gardening, and his unwavering devotion to his family. Born on September 30th, 1928, he spent most of his life in Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland. A proud veteran, John served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He later graduated from Johns Hopkins University, where he captained the baseball team, and went on to serve as the lead financial analyst for Prince George County Schools. John is survived by his son, Warren Weaver (Angela), and two granddaughters, Casey Suber (Charlie) and Crystan Weaver. He was a beloved great-grandfather to Noah John and a cherished companion to two grandpuppies, Bennett and Morrison. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bertha. A ceremony to honor John's life will be held at Storke Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bowling Green, Va 22427 2 PM Saturday, June 21st, 2025. Visiting hours will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by services and burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
