Menz Edward Greenwade, 75, Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY. Menz, the son of the late Jimbo Greenwade and Florence Greenwade was born on June 16, 1950, in Gracey, KY. Menz was a member of Holy Child of Jesus Church, Dumas, AR, where he was a deacon. He was employed as a Mental Health Therapist with A.R. Dept of Correction/ Varner Unit. He was a U.S. Veteran and received an ARMY Service Ribbon, 5 overseas Service Ribbons, ARMY Commendation Medal, 2 National Defense Service Medals, 3 ARMY Achievements Medals, 6 ARMY Good Conduct Medals, Vietnam Service Medal, 3 NCO Professional Ribbons, Republic of Vietnam Campain Medal, and Expert Weapon Qua. Menz loved Jesus Christ, and his faith was bigger than the sky. He was a loving father to his children, amazing grandfather to all of his grandchildren, caring father-in-law, and a very thoughtful brother to his siblings. His faith, kindness, humility, and generosity will never be forgotten. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Hazel Wilson and Jimmie Greenwade. Survivors include his daughter, Chalice McCurley; sons, Alfredo Greenwade and Ariel Greenwade; siblings, Eva Brown, Gordon Greenwade, Patricia McKnight, Evelyn Green, and Cheryl Green; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
