My sympathy to the family. I missed seeing Betty at the Golden Grads reunion on Saturday. Now, I know why she did not attend although she had planned to be there. I always enjoyed chatting with Betty. She was so proud of her brother Patrick, the celebrated Band Director of Selma High School and founder of the annual Band Festival. I did not remember that Betty´s sister was Laura Davidian, a dear friend of my mother-in-law, the late Violet Melkonian. Betty will be missed by all who knew her. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. May your cherished memories comfort you. Sincerely, Paulette Janian Melkonian, class of 1964.
