James Demczyk Obituary

James S. Demczyk, 82, died on July 4. Otherwise, he would have been golfing, hunting, mowing, working on projects at the farm, visiting a restaurant, or texting. His unexpected absence from these activities and many more makes him missed terribly by those that knew him.
Jim was born on March 30, 1942, to the late Angeline (O'Niell) Demczyk and Stanley Demczyk. He grew up in Berea, Ohio, a city and people that he reconnected with often later in life. He moved to the farm he loved in Hebron, Ohio, in 1976.
Married to Mary K. (Marshall) Demczyk for 42 years. Survived by four children, one daughter-in-law, one grandson, one brother, one sister, many relatives, and several close friends.
Spent over thirty years in the freight trucking industry as a sales manager and a terminal manager, where he cultivated many lifelong friendships.
At Jim's request, no funeral was held, and his ashes were scattered as he requested.
Donations can be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Ohio Division of Wildlife, or another cause that you shared with Jim.
