James Bedford Obituary
James Lee Bedford, Sr was born on November 9, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his son James Lee (Bubba) Bedford, Jr, and his parents Ida Mae Martin and George Henry Bedford, stepmother Bernice Bedford and 4 grandchildren.
He is missed by his wife Linda Bedford, his children; Elizabeth Howard, Sarah Bedford, Charles Bedford, Christina Bedford, and Robert Bedford, his sister Yevone Coyle and husband Raco Coyle, his brother Daniel Martin, his sister-in-law Kelly Martin, his brother-in-laws; Roy and Mindy Howard, Charles Howard, George Howard, Shang and Amy Howard, his grandchildren; (almost too mean LOL) Brady Easterling, Emma Wiecken, Alexis Bedford, Destiny Bedford, Caden Butterworth, Ean Van Blaricon, Richlynn Bedford, Lucas Bedford, Kain Bedford, Lily Bedford and Desiree Bedford, along with multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a lot of friends.
Jimmy loved to help people anyway he could. He loved his music and telling stories. He has a heart of gold, but most of all he loved his family. His children and grandchildren were the world to him. He loved to tell people how nice they looked, that is women, LOL.
A Celebration of Life was held June 21, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel,Clinton with Pastor Chad Nixon officiating. Special music included "I Saw the Light, I'm a Ramblin' Man, Love Without End, Amen and You'll Accom'ny Me." Inurnment followed in Yeater Cemetery, Osceola, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
