Sara Falconer Obituary

Sara Belle Falconer, 58

Sara Belle Falconer, 58, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, in Brooksville, Florida. Born December 19, 1966, in Moses Lake, Washington, she was the beloved daughter of Gilbert George Falconer and Marjorie Ellen Falconer (Kays).

Growing up in Moses Lake, Sara shared a special bond with her siblings Julie, Marita, and Rebecca. Some treasured memories include playing lots of board games with Mom, running around the yard playing "kick the bucket" with Dad, building forts in the nearby fields, and taking family road trips to Mabton, Washington, to visit Grandpa & Grandma Kays.

After attending Moses Lake High School, Sara worked a variety of jobs in her lifetime that reflected her strong work ethic and fearless spirit. Some of these include working with the carnival, in construction, at various fast food establishments, and at a Frigidaire company assembling refrigerators.

Sara welcomed her son, Daniel McKenzie Falconer, in October of 1983 in Moses Lake. She later relocated to Stanton, Michigan, where she and her then-husband, Harlow Rudd, operated a pet store. They soon welcomed their daughter, Joslin Jo Rudd, in July of 1989.

In her later years, Sara made her home in Brooksville, Florida, where she enjoyed life with her dear friend, Terry Thomas.

Sara was a fun-loving soul who never met a stranger-her outgoing personality lit up every room. She loved music, animals, cooking, her family & friends, and most of all, she loved God with all her heart. She will be remembered for her happy and courageous spirit, and her unwavering willingness to help those around her.

Sara was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Falconer; her son, Daniel Falconer; and her infant angel daughter Rudd.

She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Falconer; her daughter, Joslin Rudd; her sisters, Julie Naimi, Marita Whiting (husband David), and Rebecca Burton (husband Carlston); her grandsons Brayden Nichols and Tanner Rudd; her granddaughter Natalie Rudd; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry her memory forward.

We are thankful knowing that Sara is now walking the golden streets of Heaven, reunited with those she loved, and held forever in God's care.

"I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1–2
