Gregg Williams Obituary

GREGG MICHAEL WILLIAMS
December 26, 1963 ˜ December 23, 2024

Gregg Michael Williams passed away on Dec. 23, 2024 in Vancouver, WA. He was 60 years old, nearing his 61st birthday. Known for his loving and generous nature, Gregg left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Gregg’s career as a salesman was marked by his charismatic approach and dedication, culminating in a successful 22-year tenure as a partner of Quality Sales, where he retired. His professional legacy is characterized by the numerous relationships he built and the high regard in which he was held by colleagues and clients alike.

Gregg valued time with family and friends above all else, loved the game of golf, and rooted on his Seattle Seahawks through and through. He was a proud alumnus “Chieftain” of Columbia River High School.

He is survived by his father, Michael Williams (Carol); sister, Kathryn Jorgeson (Craig); nephews, Austin Hess and Alex Hess (Sidonie); great niece, Haley; great nephews, Octavio and Cooper; and his beloved dog, Jake. Gregg was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Williams.

An open house celebration of life for Gregg will be held at Farrar’s Bistro on Sunday, Jan. 12th. Please come by anytime between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. (as Gregg was loved by so many, we are expecting an extremely large turnout).

His presence will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gregg’s honor to the Seattle Children’s Hospital (http://bit.ly/4fy33cp) or the Humane Society for Southwest Washington (https://bit.ly/4j9Hq5x).

It was always a pleasure to see Gregg in the community, or Farrars Bistro and Vancouver Ducks Unlimited. He will be missed. Sending prayers to family and friends.

I went to school with Gregg and graduated with him. We knew each other also from swimming and working out at LSAC during our youth. I don´t think I know of anyone that ever had a bad word to say about Willie. He was so funny! And whenever he saw me, he was always so kind and enthusiastic about whatever I was doing. I saw him most recently at our 40 year reunion, and then after that when I was out and about. We always stopped to chat, and I always walked away so happy I had seen him. I will remember Gregg with lots of fondness. He always made me laugh and smile, and the world needs more of that always. I will only carry good thoughts about him as I hope everyone that knew him does.

Angi and I met my stepbrother Gregg at our wedding in 2017, a couple of years after my Mom married his Dad. We have seen him a few times since then and most recently a couple months ago in Vancouver to meet him for lunch at Ferrar´s and see his lovely home. Gregg was a funny, humble and empathetic man,
and a great conversationalist..... I suppose a great salesman is, first and foremost a good listener. We are terribly saddened by his passing, and for the large void this creates for his family and many friends. We will keep our warm memories in our hearts.
