Ret. Major, Andrew Wayne Eason (Andy), born March 27, 1968, in Houston, Texas went to rest with the Lord on May 9, 2025. Andy passed away peacefully at his home in Somerville, Texas before being brought back to his native town of Conroe, Texas. Andy was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and son and is survived by his father, Wayman Eason; mother, Janelle Eason; wife, Lea Eason; brother, David Eason and wife Ashley; daughters and sons, Marisa Giddens and husband Zachary, Miranda Rollins and husband Brady and granddaughter Gemma; Jeffery Rutledge, Dustin Robson and Laken Robson. Andy also had many other family members such as uncles, aunts, nephews, and cousins who were a loving part of his life. Andy was raised in a loving Christian home and he accepted Christ Jesus as his Lord and savior at a young age.
Andy was also a dedicated public servant as a police officer for 33 years with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and rose through the ranks to finish his career at the rank of Major. Andy was an exemplary leader and respected by all that worked not only with him, but around him. Andy's love for his profession was evident as he worked on many facets of streamlining projects that focused on public safety. Andy truly loved not only his brothers and sisters in blue, but also the public he worked for.
Anyone who knew Andy would agree his kindness, patience, and gentle approach in every aspect of his life can never be replaced. Andy loved every member his family dearly and his compassion will echo through time as a remembrance and an example of how we should love one another, as Christ loves us. Andy will be missed by all that knew him until he is met again in the presence of God.
A public memorial service for Retired Major Andrew Eason will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at The Ark Church, located at 450 Humble Tank Rd, Conroe, Texas 77304. Visitation will start at 10:30 A.M with the service beginning at 11:30 A.M. There will be no graveside service.
It would be an honor for sworn Peace Officers to wear a Class A uniform in tribute to Major Eason's service.
