Carolyn Graham Obituary

Remembering Carolyn Graham

Carolyn Marie Taylor Graham of The Woodlands, Texas passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born on January 23, 1947, in Pasadena, Texas to parents, William Chester Taylor and Carrie Lillian Taylor.

In the summer of '69, Carolyn married the love of her life, Tom Graham. They met while Tom was attending college at the University of Houston and Carolyn was working at Gulf Oil Company. After a courtship that included many of Carolyn's childhood friends and lots of fun stories, they married on July 12, 1969, Asbury United Methodist Church in Pasadena, TX. They moved to windy Corpus Christi for a few years, and Carolyn counted down the days until they returned to Pasadena to raise their family.

Carolyn was an incredible mom, proud Dede to her grandchildren, and the heart of our family. She poured her all into raising her children nurturing them with love and support. She spent countless hours attending school programs, baseball games, dance recitals and any other activity where her kids or grandkids were involved.

She also had friendships that lasted a lifetime, many going all the way back to childhood. Those bonds meant the world to her, and she kept them strong with her laughter, honesty, and big heart. This group of ladies had

monthly birthday lunches, weekend lake get aways, after church lunches and too many shopping trips to list. These friends have stood by her throughout her lifetime and are an important part of our family.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Tom Graham. Their children Jeff Graham and his wife Jana, Kyle Graham and his wife K. K. Grandchildren include Aidan, Colin, Brady, Piper and Finley. She is also survived by her sister, Pam and husband Randal Menard of Lafayette, LA. Nieces and nephews include Tracey Taylor, Eric Taylor, Damon Gregory and his wife, Lauryn, Kelsey Dupree and husband James.

She was preceded by Carrie and Chester Taylor, her parents. Brother, Ronnie (Bubby) Taylor and wife, Dianna and several cherished friends.

Carolyn's legacy includes a long list of volunteering at church, hospitals, schools and other places that were close to her heart. She would find ways to give back to the community and show her kids the importance of putting others first and unconditional love.

On a special note, the family would like to send an acknowledgement of thanks to the outstanding caregivers that lovingly cared for our mom. Especially these three ladies who were instrumental in caring for her most recently - Judy, Laurel and Malynda from Visiting Angels. We appreciate your efforts to provide excellent care as well as dignity for our mom in her final days.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Carolyn will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at The Woodlands Methodist Church in the Robb Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Woodlands Methodist Church.

Carolyn, was always a bright light with an endearing smile. She & I graduated from PHS together, though we didn't have classes together she was always kind & a sweetheart. Her son Jeff & our oldest daughter Stacey attended Teague elementary together, so we worked together as roommates. Also Jeff & Stacey were in Salt & Pepper together in Junior High even though they attended different schools. Carolyn was a great mom & well loved. She is serving our Lord & Savoir now. We will praying for God's comfort for her the family & friends. Hang onto her memories & keep them alive sharing with the grandkids. We are sorry for your loss here on earth, our loss is heavens gain.
