Nancy Ferguson Obituary

Nancy Ferguson, age 80, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, surrounded by family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Ruth Feigles; her stepfather, Robert Feigles; her father, Nolan Barnett; and her brother, Thomas Barnett. Though her absence leaves a deep ache in our hearts, her life leaves a legacy of love, strength, and grace.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Ferguson; her loving sister, Linda Hurst; and her cherished children: Laura Winslow, Christina Ferguson, Jamie Ferguson, Scott Ferguson, and Angela Shirley. Nancy was a proud and joyful grandmother to eight granddaughters and two grandsons, and she held a special place in her heart for her two great grandsons.

Nancy dedicated much of her life to helping others live well. She spent over 20 years as the manager of Peak Nutrition and worked in the health food industry for most of her life. Her knowledge, compassion, and sincere desire to care for others made her a trusted and respected figure in her field. Many customers became lifelong friends because of the way she took the time to truly listen and offer guidance from the heart.

Nancy's life was a testament to the quiet power of love-gentle, patient, and enduring. She gave freely of herself, always putting others before her, and never failed to offer a warm smile or a listening ear. Her memory will live on in the stories she told, the wisdom she shared, and the love she poured into the lives of those around her.

As we mourn her loss, we find comfort in these words: "Death only hurts the living. We lose the presence of a loved one. However, our loved ones enter the presence of He who loves all."

Nancy's spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her love will never fade, and her legacy will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held to honor Mrs. Nancy Ferguson on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at McNutt Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. That service will begin at 2:00 pm.
