Mary Morrison Obituary
Mary Louise Morrison, age 86, of Nevada, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at her home in Nevada. 
Louise was born on March 5, 1939, in Greenup County, Kentucky, to Evan and Jessamine (Stephens) Smith.  She married Earl Morrison on September 7, 1963, in Grayson, Kentucky, and he survives.
She is also survived by her children: Jewell (Burtis) Neace of Grayson, Dewayne (Sherri) Morrison of Upper Sandusky, Cecil (Genny) Morrison of Upper Sandusky, and Brenda (Kenny) Miracle of Nevada.  9 grandchildren: Keith (Meagan) Neace, Nathan (Julia) Morrison, Max Morrison, Ashley (Alek) Titus, Katelyn Osborne, Johnathan (Alexis) Morrison, Reba Morrison, James Miracle, and Kendra (Brandan) Ludwig, along with 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.  
Louise is also survived by her siblings: Tiney Harlow of Grayson, Clara May (Ray) McClanahan of Old Town, KY., Clyde Smith of Grayson, Hazel (Calvin) Schaber of Marion, Ohio, Opal Montgomery of Grayson, and Edward Smith of Grayson, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Cecil and Elton Smith.
Louise was a homemaker and had worked at the former Rainbow Nursing Home, and Westinghouse/AO Smith, where she retired after 17 years. 
She was a member for over 45 years of the Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Marion, where she was active at one time in the choir, and also volunteering in the kitchen for various church activities. 
Louise loved to travel, listen to her Southern Gospel music, she had the gift of hospitality and love to share her gift of cooking, and was known for her pies, candies, and peanut butter fudge. 
She will be remembered for her loving and caring spirit, and loyalty to those around her, and most importantly, her love for her Savior, husband and her kids. 
Funeral services for Mary Louise Morrison will be held at 11:00am Monday, September 15, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Pastor Floyd Radebaugh officiating.  Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.
Visitations for Louise will be Sunday, September 14, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
