Delores Kranz Obituary

Delores Jean (Eckard) Kranz, 76, of Eddyville, passed away July 7, 2025, at the Brookestone View in Broken Bow.

Delores was born Aug. 24, 1948, in Ord to Henry and Margaret (Hardy) Eckard.

Delores graduated from Spalding High School in 1967.

Delores was united in marriage Feb. 18, 1968, in Broken Bow to Dwain Kranz. The couple made their home in Eddyville.

Delores was a devoted farm wife, always helping Dwain.

Delores is survived by husband Dwain of Eddyville; brother Charles "Charlie" Eckard of Spalding; daughter-in-law Stephanie Kranz of Callaway; two grandchildren - Heather and Beth of Callaway; sister-in-law Linda Eckard of McCool Junction; several nieces; and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by sons John Mark, Ronald Eugene and Gary Lee; parents Henry and Margaret; brother Ernie; and sisters - Rose Mary, Evelyn, Margaret and Sarah.

Memorial services were Tuesday, July 22, at 2 p.m. at the Oconto Community Center in Oconto. Burial will follow in the Oconto Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to local EMT's of your choice.

Lunch and time to visit with the family was before the service at noon, at the Oconto Community Center.

Govier Brothers Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
