A celebration of life for Donald Farris, 90 of Corinth, was Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home East. Visitation was on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 10 a.m. to service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.
The Minister G. W. Childs will officiate. Donald Farris, born on April 4, 1935, to the late Everett and Elsie Farris was a beloved member of the community, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, leaving behind a rich legacy defined by hard work, dedication, and love for his family. Donald spent his career at Tennessee River Pulp and Paper, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Donald found joy in simpler pleasures. He was a passionate woodworker, spending countless hours creating beautiful pieces that showcased his talent and creativity. His love for the land was evident as he dedicated much of his time to maintaining his pine tree farm, fostering a deep connection with nature. It was not just a hobby for Donald; it was a reflection of his nurturing spirit and respect for the environment. Donald was also a devoted family man. He cherished every moment with his loved ones. His faith was a cornerstone in his life; he found solace and strength in reading his Bible, drawing comfort from its teachings.
He leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Donald Farris will be greatly missed, but his influence will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Donald is survived by son, Michael Farris; daughters, Donna Stewart (Brent) and Candace Farris; two grandchildren, Reid Stewart and Clay Stewart; and brother, Dwight Farris (Shelia), several nieces, nephews, other relatives and host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Farris, his parents Everett and Elsie Farris and sisters, Charlene Jaggers and Maverene Rickman.
