Daniel Benway Obituary
Daniel Joseph Benway, 66, of Rolling Meadows, passed away peacefully Friday, September 26, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born April 20, 1959, in Chicago, IL, to the late Ralph (Gracita) Benway and Helen (nee Debnar) Benway.
Dan was the father of Lisa, Grace (Thomas Decourcey), and Joseph Benway; brother of Ralph (Darlene) and John (Beverley Great) Benway; dear friend of Karen Benway; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, September 29, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
Funeral mass 10:00 am Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at St. Colette Church, 3900 Meadow Dr., Rolling Meadows. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Dan was a wonderful colleague, mentor, and friend. Not only was he an expert in our industry, but always made our team laugh. I am thankful for having had the opportunity to work with him. Wishing peace and comfort to all who are mourning Dan's loss.

I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Dan's family. Dan and I were colleagues at JPMorgan Chase for 35 years and it was my privilege to have a front-row seat to daily witness his kindness, honesty, integrity, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family. Dan was a wonderful and well-respected colleague, but more importantly, he was my friend...and I will greatly miss him.
