Gloria Lynch Obituary

Funeral service for Gloria Jean Lynch 75, will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:30 am at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Rowser, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Lynch passed away on July 20, 2025. Mrs. Lynch's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Lynch was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was among the first to graduate from Charles R Drew High School in the Class of 1968. Her only job for 32 years was at Tyson Food, Gadsden, AL. She also drove the brown van for many years to transport many employees back and forth to work. Survivors include her loving husband: Bobby Joe Lynch; her special sons: Adrian Curry, Bobby Simmons; loving daughters: Belinda (Tyrone) Carter, Rhonda (Lawrence) McGhee, Jr., Lillie (Alkera) Garrett; grandchildren: Jaylin Curry, JaMiri Curry, Geovonti Lynch, Deandre Lynch,Treveon Lynch, Ahmod Garrett and Alkera Garrett Jr; siblings: Edward Curry Jr., Evangelist Florence Lemon and Brenda Woods; special nieces raised with her: Bervina Sims and Towanda Curry; brother in law: Charles (Lenora) Lynch; special nephew: JaMicheal (Kacie) Curry; special friends: Ms. Mary Joyce Mosley and Ms. Ida Truss, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Annie Mae Curry, siblings, Erskin and Ervin Curry (twins), Mary (Ozzie) Greer, Mattie (Sidney) Mauldin, Edwinia (Lee Curtis) Truss, Blanche Curry, Virginia Curry, Andrew Woods, Melvin Lemon; nephews: Frank, Danterrian, Brae,TL, Jamarius, Curtis, Melvin Jr., Jackie, Tyrone, Duecee, nieces: Rita and Tierra.
