Kenneth Hollopeter Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth S. Hollopeter, who left us on July 17, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on March 20, 1943, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ken worked for American Medical Systems for 25 years before retiring. Ken's wisdom, kindness, and humor left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Ken was a proud family man, deeply loved and remembered by his wife, Sheila, and his five children; Penny Gabbard, Patti (Joe) Super, Peggy (Brune) Adrian, Kenny Hollopeter and Pamela Clark. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of Ken's warmth and love in their hearts.

Ken's life was a celebration of family, friendship, and good times. Known for his infectious laughter and good-natured spirit, he brought joy to everyone he met. Whether telling stories, sharing a meal, or simply enjoying the company of loved ones, Ken's spirit was always an uplifting presence.

Ken will be dearly missed but his spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts and memories. His burial will be held at a later date, as he will be laid to rest with his loving wife, in Decatur, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kenneth's name to support local community programs that uplift and serve families in need.

Let us gather to honor a remarkable man who taught us the importance of family and enjoying every moment to the fullest.
