2002-2025
- Hannah Haycock, age 22, peacefully passed away in her home on the morning of July 14, 2025, after her year-long battle with cancer. She was born on July 26, 2002, in Murray, UT, to her parents, Garth and Camille Haycock. She is survived by both of her parents, her siblings (Hilary Kalkbrenner, Skyler Haycock, and Griffin Haycock), and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Hannah graduated from Murray High School in 2020. During her school years, she developed lasting friendships that shaped her life and interests. Hannah was able to work closely with animals and young children in multiple daycares. Hannah had a deep love for both animals and children and was able to express that love through her work every day.
Although her time here on earth was shorter than hoped for, Hannah was able to live a life with joy and excitement. She awarded herself many experiences, ranging from trips to concerts and other spontaneous adventures. Hannah loved to capture these moments through photography to ensure these memories can continue on and constantly be looked back on.
Anyone who knew Hannah knew of her dry sense of humor. She wasn't shy to throw a few quick-witted comments your way, but everyone knew her humor was an expression of love towards those it was directed at. Her personality and presence were a blessing to everyone around her.
We want to express gratitude to her employer, ABC Great Beginnings, for their grace and kindness as Hannah was being treated for her illness. We also want to express gratitude to Intermountain Radiation Oncology, Utah Cancer Specialists, and Intermountain Homecare and Hospice for taking great care of Hannah as she was battling her illness.
A service to celebrate Hannah's life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 6:00-8:00pm located at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Homes, 4760 S State St, Murray, UT 84107. This service will be open to close friends and family members who wish to pay their respects and love to Hannah and the Haycock family. Burial will take place Saturday, July 19th next to other family members at the Murray City Cemetery.
