Judith Kay Freeby, 74, of Goshen, died Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Clinton, Illinois, to David Mildred H. (Vance) Taylor.
Survivors include her son, Chris F. (Dawn) Cubbernuss of Bristol; a granddaughter; and three brothers, Robert (Geneva) Taylor of Goshen, Donald (Karen) Taylor of Goshen and Harold Taylor of Goshen.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Freeby; a daughter, Melissa Kay Poff; a granddaughter, Madelynn Brynn Cubbernuss; two sisters, Joan Clifton and Sue Burgess; and three brothers, Richard, Rusty and Thomas Taylor.
Judith was a certified nursing assistant who dedicated her life to the compassionate care of others.
She enjoyed baking and cooking with her beloved granddaughter, creating cherished memories and delicious treats. She also found immense joy and companionship in spending time with her dogs, who were a constant source of comfort and love.
According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 30, at Rice Cemetery.
