Lynda Jean Davis (formerly Lantz), 76, of Elkhart, passed to her rest on June 3, 2025, at the Brickyard Healthcare Center, Elkhart, after an illness. She was born Dec. 16, 1948 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Theodore and Jane (Brager) Bollier and has lived in this area most of her life. She was retired by Office-Accounting duties for Auspro Mfg and Morgan DriveAway, both Elkhart.
She is survived by her husband Harold Lee Davis Sr., and children Damon (friend Alice) Kroskie of Buckley, Michigan, and Trisha Mendenhall of Phoenix, Arizona. There are step-children, Harold L Davis Jr. of Gobles, Michigan, Kenneth W (Melissa) Davis of South Haven and Tasha M. (Tim Sr.) Young of Gobles, Michigan, Tina M (Toby) Burns of Richmond, Indiana. There are a total of 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Rhonda (Tom) Hall of Texas and Barbara Bollier of Fort Wayne.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, June 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 W. Main St, Edwardsburg. The viewing will close with a prayer. Cremation will follow the viewing.
A Celebration of Life will be June 17, from noon to 1 p.m. at her church, the First Church Of God, 33180 U.S. 12, east of Niles with the church minister, Pastor Robert Jackson, officiating. Inurnment will follow the services to the Edwardsburg Cemetery in the family plot. Arrangements are by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
