Eugene Dipple Obituary
He was born on October 16, 1942, in Frenchtown, New Jersey. He attended Milford Public school and was a member of the first class to graduate from Delaware Valley High School in 1960.
Eugene was the son of the late Erving and Marguerite Slack Dipple. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Throughout his working life, Eugene was employed as a meat cutter at Del Val Market (Milford Market). He later dedicated many years to Hoffman-LaRoche as a Chemical Operator until his retirement. His final occupation, and possibly his favorite, was as an auto parts delivery driver for National Auto in Flemington, New Jersey.
Eugene had a passion for automobiles, particularly Corvettes and Chevy's, and was a regular visitor to Ma-De's Chat Shop. He will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and strong work ethic. Above all, he was a devoted family man, a cherished husband to Sandra Clark Dipple for 59 years, a loving father to Susan Myers (and her husband Jesse), Michael Dipple (and his wife Angela), Gregory Dipple (and his wife Kora), Gary Dipple (and his wife Betty), and Jeffrey (and his wife Lynn), and an adored "PPop" to his grandchildren Claire, John, Adriana, Lily, Luca, Derek, Martin, Giana, Connor, Matthew, and Amanda. His remarkable blue eyes and his enthusiasm as a fan of the Phillies and the Eagles will be fondly remembered. He was predeceased by his siblings, Kenneth, Edward, and Ronald Dipple.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Finegan Funeral Home, located at 924 2nd Avenue, Alpha, New Jersey. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eugene's name may be made to the Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center, located at 3895 Alder Place, Suite 135 Bldg. A, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18017.

Sandy and all of your family, I am so sorry to see that Gene has passed. He was so blessed to have a large family to share his life. A wonderful wife to stand by his side as the years went by. As the Memorial Day weekend has just passed, it is a time to thank him for his service to our country. Sandy, I know your children and grand children will be there to comfort you and help you through this time of sorrow. Rest in peace Gene, fly high!

I always enjoyed seeing Gene every morning. He always had a smile and of course I loved serving him coffee in his very own Superman coffee cup.

We have known the Dipples for many years as our children grew up together attending Milford School. Gene and Sandy were always welcoming and our son, "Dougie", was a dear friend to their son, Greg. We found Gene to be a great Dad, loving husband, and a friend to all who were lucky enough to know him. May he RIP. Our deepest sympathy is extended to Sandy and the whole family.

Thinking of Sandy and all of Gene's family, such a nice man, so kind and very funny. He will be missed at Ma De. Always added to the crowd with his insights on the Phillies and Eagles, such a huge fan, and had so much knowledge about the game and the players. A friend to everyone at Ma De.
