Gail Amble Obituary

Gail Ann Marie Amble, 83, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on July 6, 2025, at her home. She was born in Lancaster, WI in 1942 to the late Ward and Doris Hall. Gail graduated from Scales Mound High in Scales Mound, IL and met Jim Amble, her husband of nearly 50 years in Janesville, WI. Gail was a phenomenal cook, was an avid University of Wisconsin sports fan, and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Poppy and Karen Kopacz of Robbinsdale, MN, Jeffery and Christine Poppy of Weston, CT, Michael Poppy of San Francisco, CA, and Thomas and Lauren Amble of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Alison Poppy, Dylan and Scheilla Poppy, Nigel and Madison Poppy, Van Amble, Rhys Amble, and Nora Amble.

Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Monday July 21, 2025 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home-Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with calling one-hour prior. Burial in Concordia Gardens Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
