Betty Routzahn Obituary
Born in Charles Town, West Virginia, Betty was the daughter of Lillian P. Campbell and Jacob Campbell.
She lived a long and full life marked by kindness, resilience, and quiet strength. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her gentle spirit and deep care for others.
She is survived by her four children: Sam Remsburg (Sherie), Robert Remsburg (Christine), Tim Remsburg, and Ann Engman (Tim); and by her beloved grandchildren, Samantha Remsburg and Brigette Pritts (Matt). She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Remsburg, and her second husband, Robert H. Routzahn; her parents, Lillian and Jacob Campbell; her brothers, Pete Campbell, Jake Campbell, and Donnie Campbell; and her sister, Georgia Parke.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson Harman Funeral Home, 31 E Main Street, Middletown, MD 21769. A graveside service will follow on Friday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle in Betty's honor.
Betty's presence was a steady light in the lives of many, and her memory will continue to inspire love, grace, and warmth in all who knew her.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.I had great times hunting and fishing the years ago I still hunt the Fram she always welcome me and Jay always came out to talk always waved good by when seeing us hanging out with Tim God bless her a wonderful lady.

I will never forget Betty and her enthusiasm for living. It seems I have known her for most of my life and I am happy to known her and to have shared so many of those good times with her. Betty always knew you!
