Nicole R. Emery, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on March 29, 1972, Nicole was a Lake High School graduate whose vibrant spirit touched everyone around her.
As a Service Coordinator for National Church Residences, Nicole dedicated her professional life to helping others, always putting her family first. Her outgoing and energetic personality shone brightly in every aspect of her life. Nicole had an extraordinary ability to see the best in others, and she worked tirelessly to leave the world a better place.
Nicole was especially proud of her role as a mother, passionately supporting her daughter Brittany in all her cheer endeavors. Her encouragement and love helped shape Brittany’s confidence and spirit, leaving an indelible mark on her life. Nicole’s support extended beyond just her daughter; she was a source of strength and inspiration to her entire family.
Nicole had a deep love for antique shopping, often spending cherished days exploring new finds with her family. She enjoyed building crafts with her parents and shared them with many.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Brittany, and her caring parents, Jeff (Ellen) Shaffer and Brenda Shaffer. Nicole was also a cherished sister to her brothers, Derek (Laura) Shaffer and Steve Shaffer, who will forever hold her memory dear. In addition, she is remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, and friends, whose lives she enriched with her kindness and laughter.
Nicole's home was also brightened by her two beloved dogs, Mario and Lilly, who were always at her side, offering unconditional love and companionship.
The world feels a little dimmer without the radiant light that was Nicole R. Emery. Her spirit and love will continue to inspire all who knew her, reminding us of the importance of family, friendship, and the beauty that comes from looking for the best in one another.
Visitation will be Thursday February 6th from 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Friday from 10-11 AM. Funeral services will be Friday February 7th at 11 AM in the funeral home. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery in Hartville.
