Richard Hilton Obituary

Richard (Rick) Hilton passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 72, in Hagerstown, MD. Born on February 15, 1952, Rick devoted much of his life to his family and his career. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Cathy (Kitty) Hilton, his daughter Cassie Hilton, his grandson Haedin Hilton, his mother Ruby Mehaffie, and his brother Sandy Hilton. He was preceded in death by his father, Royal Hilton.

Rick managed the Urbana Exxon for 35 years, a role that saw him become a well-respected figure in the community. Outside of work, Rick had a passion for riding his Harley and enjoyed duck pin bowling, activities that brought him great joy and relaxation.

Though there will be no service, those wishing to honor Rick's memory can contribute to his GoFundMe page, set up in his memory.

Rick's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Richard (Rick) Hilton

I was friends with Rick when we both lived in Woodsboro, Maryland. I have a lot of good memories of Rick back then when we were young and riding around the cicuit in Frederick, for those of you who can remember those days, not to mention all the other crazy things that we did and shared back then. May his family find peace in knowing that others care and share in your sorrow.

Sorry to hear of Rick's passing. My parents bought his parents place in 1965 and I remember going to the gas station many times as a teen. He was a nice guy. As a young lad he liked shooting bb guns.
