Sandra Lowe Obituary

Sandra K. Lowe, 81, of Smithsburg, Maryland, formerly of Frederick, passed from this life on Thursday, July 3, 2025 under the care of Hospice at Williamsport Retirement Village in Williamsport, Maryland. She was the loving wife of the late James Lawrence Lowe, who predeceased her on January 23, 2021. They were married for 56 years at the time of his death.

Born on April 20, 1944, in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lester V. Cole and Marie E. (DeGrange) Cole.

Sandra was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Lowe and wife Melissa, Karen Fagan and husband Rick, Michael Lowe and wife Michele, and Angela Lowe; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her sister, Nancy Shugars.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sandra was predeceased by her sisters, Sally Kimmel and Shirley Whittington; and her mother-in-law, Emily McGinnis.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
