Jeffrey Lohr Obituary

Jeffrey Edward Lohr, 76, of King George, VA (formerly of York, PA), passed away on September 22, 2025. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam and Germany with the Army Security Agency. He retired from M&T Bank in York, PA, as a computer network administrator.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 52 years, Tresa Lohr; children, Barret (Audrey) Lohr and Petra Lohr; grandchildren, Alaina and Jackson Lohr; and brothers, Michael (Deb) Lohr and Gary (Rosa) Lohr. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Thomas and Vincent.

An accomplished woodturner, Jeffrey was active in the Fredericksburg and Richmond woodworking communities and co-founded Indian Springs Art with his wife. He also founded the York branch of the Neuroendocrine Support Group and was a passionate reader and chess enthusiast.

A Celebration of Life, open to all, will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 1:30–4:00 p.m. at the Dorothy Hart Community Center, 408 Canal St, Fredericksburg, VA.
