MaryAnn Elizabeth Amstutz

MaryAnn Elizabeth Amstutz, 81, of Spotsylvania County passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at her home.

MaryAnn loved farming and had a special talent for arranging flowers. She enjoyed spending time with friends through the Spotsylvania County Women's Club, the Newcomers and Old Friends Club, and the Lunch Bunch Club (The Outlaws).

Survivors include her son, Alfred Amstutz (Dusty); grandchildren, Kiernan Amstutz and Ian Amstutz; and brother, Mark Shelton (Linda). She was preceded in death by her husband, David Amstutz.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to JMU Autism, mail to James Madison University Dept. of Communication, Sciences and Disorders 220 University Blvd. MSC4304 Harrisonburg, VA 22807.
