Robert Dresslar Obituary

Robert Arne Dresslar of Clovis passed away on July 20, 2025 from lung cancer complications at the Fresno VA hospital. Born in Portland Oregon in 1950 to Frank and Jean Dresslar, Bob graduated from Bullard High in 1968 and, after a year at Cal Poly SLO, enlisted in the Marines, where he served "in the bush" in Vietnam in 1969 - 70. After safely returning, he finished his education at Fresno State with a BA in accounting. After successfully passing his CPA exam, he opened his own accounting practice in Fresno. He later moved to the San Francisco area, where he helped develop one of the first full featured enterprise software accounting and order processing programs. He later retired to Costa Rica but returned to Fresno to be near family and friends. He is survived by his partner, Jamie Supinger Crowley and his siblings Chris Dresslar Moss, John Dresslar and Barbara Dresslar, his nieces Sarah Rodriguez and Erica Riggs and their daughters, and nephew Aaron Dresslar. His family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Fresno VA hospital for their wonderful care and support.
