Mark Petersen Obituary

Mark Andrew Petersen age 62 of Sand Lake, died Friday, July 18, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital. He was born on March 18, 1963 in Grand Rapids, the son of Gerry and Connie (Arnold) Petersen. In his early years, Mark loved to camp and his favorite place was the U.P. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and deer hunting. He is survived by his brother, Christopher (Rose) Petersen; his dog, Flash. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, July 24 at K.E. Pike Funeral Home with visitation at 10:00 am. Pastor Bruce Wilson, officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the American Legion, Cedar Springs. Because of Mark's love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to Bellowood Rescue and Training (make checks to Bellowood Inc.) 14643 Wabasis Ave. NE Cedar Springs, MI 49319.

Always enjoyed seeing Mark and his dad at car shows and visits with them when they stopped by. They picked on each other like two little brothers. Both had a lot of knowledge of vintage cars and were willing to share it. Going to miss Mark and his dad. Good guys.
