Cowan Dukes Jr. Obituary

On Thursday July 27, 2023; Cowan Dukes Jr. of Springfield, MA, suddenly fell asleep in death.

Cowan was born on March 20, 1991 in Springfield, MA, to Cowan Dukes Sr. and Terissa Kitchings.

Cowan grew up in a close and loving home, where he would amuse and entertain, at any opportunity. Cowan was kind and loving and loved to say or do anything to make people smile. Cowan was a super talented young man. He enjoyed drawing, dancing, rapping and much more. Cowan attended Sci-Tech High, in Springfield. His charisma and charm drew people to him, and he was quickly well known and liked by many at school. Cowan carried this infectious manner about him through his life. Wherever he went, Cowan made a friend.

Cowan took his love of making people laugh a step further. He performed locally as a amateur comedian. Along with a funny bone, Cowan had a business mind. Always the Self starter, he explored different business ventures. At the time of his death, Cowan had started his HVAC business, Primetime Insulation.

Cowan was removed from us too soon. There is no way to know what he truly would have blossomed into. Cowan was a man with a big heart and the need to make people feel joy. He will be more than missed.

Cowan leaves behind his father Cowan Dukes Sr., Corine Dukes (step mother), mother Terissa Kitchings. Siblings From His Father Side including His brothers Christopher Dukes, Carter Glasper (step brother) and Step- sister Cerianna Glasper-Dukes . From His Mother's Side including Brothers Leon and Marquise and Sister Natasia. Grand Mothers Delores Dukes, Lorraine Kitchings, Grandfather Edward L.
