With broken hearts, we share the passing of Pamela Prince-Eason, whose life was defined by purpose, passion, deep love for her family, and a commitment to making the world better for others.

Pam was the devoted wife of John M. Eason, her best friend and partner in life for 33 wonderful years. Together, they built a life full of laughter, love, purpose, and togetherness. Pam was the proud and loving mother of Tabitha Eason Romero (son-in-law Dan Romero), Heather Eason Liposky (son-in-law Rob Liposky), and Lindsey All, each of whom she cherished beyond measure. She adored her grandchildren-Melody, Gabbi, Ashleigh, Payton, Kenzi, Chloe, and Chelsea-who knew her lovingly as "Pam Pam," a name that brought a sparkle to her eyes every time she heard it.

Pam's first and best role model was her incredible mother Betty Jo Prince, with whom she travelled the world constantly for the last 5 years. In the same spirit of lifelong connection, she shared deep bonds with her siblings, who were by her side through every season of life: Dr. Cindy Roark, Debbie Bowling (brother-in-law Terry Bowling), and Mark Prince; and a close-knit extended family that includes sisters- and brothers-in-law Carole, Barbara, Steve, and Travis; nieces Morgan, Kari, Katie; and nephews Matt, Travis (T.D.), Ryan, John, Andrew, and Ethan and her wonderful aunt Lilly Ann.

Pam was preceded in death by her father Mikel Prince, her father-in-law Travis Eason, and her mother-in-law Merle Eason.

Pam grew up in Kingsport, TN, and graduated from Sullivan Central High School in 1981. Pam's passion for learning and excellence was evident early on. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from East Tennessee State University in 1985, and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, with a Master of Administrative Science in International Business and Finance in 1990-laying the foundation for a remarkable career that blended heart, vision, and leadership.

Pam held a senior leadership role as Vice President at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where she built lifelong professional and personal relationships. She then served as President and CEO of WBENC for over a decade, Pam led with fierce dedication to elevating women-owned businesses across the nation. Her influence reshaped industries and opened doors for countless women entrepreneurs, all while staying grounded in what mattered most-people. She believed in the power of connection, equity, and giving others a seat at the table.

Pam's authenticity was one of her most treasured qualities. She was just as joyful walking into a room and flashing her signature smile to sit and play games with her family and friends, as she was commanding attention in a board room or high-stakes White House meeting. What mattered most to Pam was never the setting-but the people. She made everyone feel important, seen, and truly valued.

Despite her extraordinary accomplishments, Pam was profoundly humble. She rarely spoke of herself, preferring to shine the spotlight on those around her. She celebrated the success of others as if it were her own and never lost sight of the human moments in even the most high-powered environments.

She brought energy, humor, and heart to everything she did. Whether cheering on her beloved Lady Vols, playing a competitive match of tennis, or Jeeping with her hubby John on their next great adventure, or singing along to her favorite country songs or Jimmy Buffet tunes, she embraced life fully and fearlessly. Her presence was magnetic, her joy contagious, and her love for her family immeasurable.

Pam's absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled, but her presence will continue to guide all those who were lucky enough to know and love her.

At this time, the family asks for privacy as they navigate this profound loss. A private graveside service will be held.

A public Celebration of Life will take place in Washington, D.C., where all who loved Pam will be invited to honor her extraordinary life. Details will be announced at a later date.

Pamela Prince-Eason was a force of love, humility, and authenticity. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched.
