Lorraine Demauex Obituary

Lorraine Florence Demauex, 96, wife of the late William Benjamin Demauex, passed away July 6, 2025. A native of Passaic, New Jersey, daughter of the late Emile and Valerie Holvoet-Vermaut Poublon, she was a graduate of Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in Montclair, New Jersey, a retired nurse for St. Francis Hospital, and of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law Scott and Dawn Demauex of Taylors and two nieces, Gail Wieland and Lorie Poublon. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Poublon and a sister, Lillian P. Fischer. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of The Gardens at Eastside and Family Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, compassion and love they provided.
