Connie Sue Crayton was born July 2, 1954, in Independence, to the late Rufus and Lillie Crayton. Connie passed away July 3, 2025, in Natalbany, at the age of 71. She was known for her cooking and candy-making, especially around the holidays. Connie was an adoring grandmother who lived for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Olah Williams and her husband Jonathan; sisters, Dorothy Milton, and her late husband, Bob, Dorcas Perrin, and her late husband, Steve and Pat Soape, and her husband, Burleigh; brothers, Rona Crayton, and his late wife, Frances and Dennis Crayton and his wife, Pat; grandchildren, Brandon Thompson, Lilly Olah, Mattie Williams, Jude Williams, and Phoebe, and a sister-in-law, Elaine Crayton.
Connie is preceded in death by her daughter, Kayla Nicole Olah; a sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Ronnie Sherman, and brothers and a sister-in-law, Rubin Crayton and Rufus and Margaret Crayton, Jr.
A memorial service/celebration of life service will be held Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, 11254 LA 1064, Natalbany, Monday, July 21, 2025, at 5 pm followed by a celebration of life "potluck" dinner.
