Shirley Blake Obituary
SHIRLEY OLA BLAKE, 81, of Lesage, WV, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Montgomery General Hospital, Montgomery, WV.
Funeral service will be conducted 12 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Hewlett Trogdon officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park.
Shirley was born March 29, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Boyd William & Lucy Fields Gibson. She retired from St. Mary's Medical Center after 20 years of service.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Anse Cleveland Blake and a son Boyd Blake. Survivors include three daughters, Yvonne (Jeff) Carter of Lesage, WV, Rebecca (Brett) McComas of Huntington, Tonya & David of Lesage, one son, Sonny (Mary) Blake of Lesage, one sister & one brother, 11 grandchildren, Brad & Timmy Carter, Jessica (Mike) McMaster, Sonny (Annie), Justin (Aubrey), Samantha (John), Britney, Haley, Maddison, Boyd Jr. & Casey Blake, 3 great grandchildren, Kendall Blake, Cameron & Skyler Carter.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Chapman's Mortuary. Online condolences may be sent to www.chapmans-mortuary.com.
