Isla Conner Obituary

Dear Natalee, It is a terrible experience to lose a mother, especially for daughters. She was your best friend, I'm sure. From the day you were born you were her world. You have your role model to carry on, but every day you will be wanting her near. Life is hard this way, and love has made it so. We are thankful for that much. In time, a smile will appear before the tear. Our love for you from here....

To Natalee, Michael and Jayla, I am so sorry about the loss of your mom, and Nana. I know you all are missing her dearly.
I met your Mom almost 3 decades ago. She has been a good friend to me over the years. I know she loved you all so much. I will miss her too. Like your Dad, I wish I could be at her Celebration of Life for you, Michael and Jayla. Keep the fond memories of her with you closely as you go through this process of grieving and loss. I pray that the Holy Spirit wraps His loving arms around you all, and that the peace of our Lord, Jesus, wash over you. I love you all!

It breaks my heart to say Teresa and I will not be at your Mom's memorial celebration. I lost hours upon hours of sleep knowing I would not be there for you. I was excited about going till I had to face the hurtful truth. I asked Teresa about it, and she said it would not be a wise idea. My health condition has slipped down the last few months and it would be too risky and challenging to go. Teresa is staying here to help me out. So, I say with joy that God's grace gave Isla and me a beautiful daughter named Natalee and you gave us two beautiful grandchildren in Michael and Jayla!
May Jesus and the Holy Spirit comfort the three of you in this huge loss, for your mother will be greatly missed. I love you all, and my heart aches to be there to support all 3 of you! Dad

I remember the first day of First grade how you answered every question and wrote the answers on the chalkboard. I also remember many years later having a conversation with you about the power of prayer. Praise be to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dearest Isla, back in the 1990's you certainly did help me alot and you were truly one of my Recovery Angels. Remember the angel statue? Rest in peace dear friend.

My condolences to the family!! Isla was a friend for many years. I´m sad to hear of her passing..

I will miss Isla. We've been friends for 57 years. She was a dear friend. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers. RIP, Isla.

My classmate from 1st grade to graduation. Will always remember you in my heart. Seeing you a couple of times and talking to you on facetime was wonderful. RIP my friend.
