Harry Neil Harpole died Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in Houston at the age of 96. Harry was born December 24, 1928 in Jacksonville, Ark., to Harry Harpole and Bessie Jewell Boyd Harpole.
Harry retired from Texas Eastern Transmission Corp. in 1986 after 32 years, having worked in accounting, corporate planning and financial reporting functions based in Houston, Shreveport, La. and Baytown, Texas.
Harry was preceded in death by Sally Butler Harpole, his wife of 64 years. He is survived by children Jeri Sharp (Larry), David Harpole (Christine), of Houston, and Doug Harpole (Susan) of Amissville, Va.; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 9, 2025 at Forest Park East Chapel, 21620 Gulf Freeway at 10 AM followed by interment. Visitation will precede the service at 9 AM.
