Douglas Brenchley Obituary

Doug´s my friend. He was intelligent, well read and fun to work with. I miss him.

I came home from Virginia for two weeks to drive a potato truck for my brother Dallas the first year he grew potatoes. When I left to go home, Doug took over driving my truck. He then continued working for Dallas and with my dad. He helped dad feed the cows for many years. He was a great friend to dad and our family for many years. We will miss him.

Doug live across the street from us on Toponce Dr in the `50´s. He and I had Tonka Toys metal cars and trucks and a tractor that we used to push around in the dirt. We made darts with s pin and pheasant feather that we´d throw around down in his basement. I never saw much of him after that but his father would keep me informed when I met him at ISU. Great people! My condolences RIP.
