Susan Hulverson Obituary

Susan J. Hulverson, age 80, of Oscoda, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at her home with her most important people by her side, her family.
She was born on April 26, 1945 in Lakeport to the late Roy and Arlene Shreeve (Crackle). She married her childhood sweetheart, Robert Hulverson, on Jan. 6, 1961. They began dating when Susan was 13 years old and married at 16. Bob's career in the U.S. Air Force led them to be stationed around the world and in several places in the United States., landing permanently in 1985 in Oscoda where they would raise their family.
Susan enjoyed playing bingo, scratch off tickets and taking daily trips to the Oscoda Family Fare. She was a wonderful cook and baker and loved making birthday cakes and pies for her boys. Most importantly, Susan enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by five sons, Robert (Debi), Michael (Shelly), Tommy (Jackie), Marty (Holly), Jeffrey (Pat); 13 grandchildren, Brittany, Austin, Kayley, Eliza, Izzy, Sabrina, Jace, Gracy, Ethan, Evan, Clara, Greyson, Watson; eight great grandchildren, Madilynne, Simon, Lilly, Jane, Ruth, Carmela, Neil and Edith. Susan is also survived by her two brothers, Gary (Irene) and Dave (Sue).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and her favorite dog, "Bear."
